As of 2024, nearly 40% of Liberia’s population

is between the ages of 0 and 14.

This means nearly 2 out of every 5 Liberians are children—a powerful reminder of the importance of investing in education, health, and spiritual development for the next generation. With a total population of around 5.7 million in 2025, this age group represents over 2.2 million young lives who will shape the future of Liberia.

This youthful demographic underscores the urgency and impact of initiatives like Love For Liberia’s schools and vocational programs, which are helping to equip children and families with tools for lifelong transformation.

Education is a powerful tool for transformation—and at Love For Liberia, it’s central to our mission of uplifting children and families. Through our two foundational schools—Kulius School of Excellence in Barnesville near Monrovia, and John Sumo Preparatory School in Gbarga—we provide quality education from nursery age through 8th grade, laying a strong academic and spiritual foundation for hundreds of students.

Our third major initiative, Hope In Christ Vocational Training Institute in Montserrado County, expands this vision by preparing older students for leadership and lifelong impact. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by young women, we’ve also launched a vocational school that equips them with practical, hands-on skills to support their families and build brighter futures. Across our campuses, we proudly employ 75 teachers, creating a ripple effect of stability, dignity, and hope throughout the communities we serve.
